Thank you for your donation to the 'Unaccompanied LatinAmerican Minor Project' Fund campaign!
We are grateful for the sheer bigheartedness that so many friends and supporters from across the country demonstrated.
Due to your generosity, we collected over 700 books and EXCEEDED our goal of raising $2500 to purchase more books and supplies. We couldn’t have done this without you!

What are the next steps?
Over the next few weeks, we (as well as other La Casa Azul Bookstore and U-LAMP team members) will sort books by age and reading level and placing beautiful, inspirational bookplates in each book.
Starting in mid-September, we will be delivering these books to children and teenagers who are awaiting hearings and who are currently in detention in upstate New York.
Thanks to you, we anticipate that over 1,000 boys and girls in the New York City-area will receive books!
Best wishes,
